What is Worship Like?
Our services follow a traditional Lutheran liturgy that includes hymns, Bible readings, confession and absolution, a sermon from our pastor, and communion on the first and third Sundays of the month.
Comfortable seats, hymnals, and a bulletin with the order of service make it easy to follow along.
Please come as you are - many people wear casual clothes, including shorts, especially in Florida!
Bring the Kids
We love having children in worship!
We have a small nursery area available if needed, but children are always welcome in the service. About halfway through, kids are invited to join a Sunday School class for a Bible lesson.
After the service, we gather for Bible study, along with coffee and snacks for everyone.
Monthly Women's Bible Study
Meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at Ascension Lutheran Church in Sarasota.
A time for fellowship, prayer and Bible study.
